We describe how your information is shared in our Privacy Policy, which you should carefully review.

How will I know if a third-party lender has purchased my information?

Upon submission of your online loan registration information and upon purchase by a third-party lender, you will receive notice that you are leaving our website and are being re-directed to that third-party lender’s website. Depending upon how your registration information is submitted, you may also be transferred to a lender via telephone. Please review all information contained on the third-party lender’s website, or otherwise provided by your third-party lender. For details, questions or concerns regarding your loan and the loan process, please contact your lender directly.

Do you perform credit checks?

No. However, by using our service, you are expressly authorizing third-party lenders to pull your full credit report and obtain consumer reports about you from one or more consumer reporting agencies. Depending on the way a particular consumer reporting agency calculates your credit score, inquiries by potential lenders to consumer reporting agencies, particularly a large number of inquiries, may negatively affect your credit score. Because people often shop for rates when making a home or auto purchase, credit scores often are adjusted so that inquiries that occur with a short period of time are counted as a single inquiry, limiting the impact of the inquiries on the credit score. You can learn more about your credit scores, and how inquiries can affect your scores, at myfico.com.

How is the purchaser of my registration information selected?

The selection of a third-party purchaser to acquire your information may be determined by a comparison of your registration information with available loan products. The position of each potential purchaser may also be determined by the price the purchaser is willing to pay for the information (e.g., the higher the price, the better the purchaser’s position).

Do you guarantee that I will be accepted by a lender?

No. There is no guarantee that you will be accepted by a third-party lender. Lenders consider a number of factors when assessing your request. We will notify you if we are unable to locate a third-party lender that meets your needs. Please feel free to complete a new online loan registration form at any time.

Am I under an obligation to accept an offer once made to me?

No. You are under no such obligation and may even negotiate with prospective third-party lenders. Be certain to evaluate all applicable terms and conditions of loan offers before making a decision. Third-party lenders should not request advance fees, although some may request an interest rate lock fee, an application or processing fee, or an appraisal fee once you have accepted a loan offer. Third-party lenders should not charge you for using our service. For details, questions or concerns regarding your loan please contact your lender directly.

Can I cancel a loan request?

Yes. However, you must contact your third-party lender directly. We do not control and are not responsible for the actions of any lender.

How can I stop unwanted contacts from lenders?

If you do not desire to receive further telephone communications from a lender, you have a right to request that you be put on the lender’s Do Not Call list.

What if I have questions about my loan or loan documents?

Your lender is legally required to provide you with loan documents, and disclose the terms of your loan, including rates and charges. Each lender has its own terms and policies. Always carefully review all loan terms and policies provided by your lender and rely on your own judgment as to whether to obtain a loan. For details, questions or concerns regarding your loan and available loan programs please contact your lender directly.
